  • Liverpool School water harvesting Posted on 21 May 2017

Having had to delay the funding of this project, because of the emergency replacement of the roof at another school, I have managed to raise the necessary funding to begin the project and money will be sent this week so that the work can begin

It is a very basic form of water harvesting but it provides water for cleaning, washing and cooking.

The new 2 classroom building will be fitted with guttering and downpipes and a 3,000 litre water tank

The rainy season has just started but I am hoping that the work will only take a week and the school community will then start to reap the benefit of the system.
